DELICIOUS Highlights were the eggplant salsa, the cheesy bread and the beef stroganoff. The chicken stew was tasty, but not quite what I expected. It was more a stewed chicken quarter: breast, wing, thigh all included. The portions are generous, so come hungry and probably expect to take home leftovers. bring a sharpie to sign the wall.

Beef stragonoff here was amazing. Simply the best. The egg cheese bread thing was also super good. I forgot the name of it. This place is definitely worth the wait and worth the troubles of finding parking because there was literally no parking available nearby. We had to circle the streets for 30 mins.

Absolutely delicious every time. Pomegranate is definitely a fave for my friends and I. Love coming and sharing a variety of dishes (they can be rich so sharing is perfect to get a taste) with them. I am not a beet person by any means but Pomegranate has me eating beets in all forms (salad, soup, shots) lolol Cheese bread is phenomenal (I get mine without the egg yolk). Soup dumplings are lovely as well. Beet salad is flavorful. Staff is also super friendly. Always a top suggestion for restaurants from me when anyone asks.

Overall 4.5 Food 5!!!! First time dining here. We called to see if we needed to make reservations as we heard this place is busy. We reserved the last spot of the evening. We were so glad they were able to accommodate us. Anyway, there were no parking places close by so we were dropped off in front of the restaurant. We checked in and they wouldn't seat us until all our group was present. So we stood outside for a several minutes and waited. I think they decided to seat us anyway because we were waiting quite a while for our family member trying to find parking and it was getting late and closer to the last call to order. lol At first we thought they forgot us again cause even though we were seated no one came by to acknowledge us. Minutes passed again...lol After a family member waved at a server game on and we were ready to try out the food!! lol Marina was our server and as soon as she said hello we had our order ready!!! She was really nice too. We ordered the following... SALAD SAMPLER PLATTER which included... *OLIVIER- Russian version of potato salad *LOBIO: Traditional Georgian dish of prepared beans and walnuts *KAVKAZ BEET SALAD- Glorious beets, spices and herbs. *CARROT SALAD-Carrots, garlic, walnuts *IKRA BADRIJANNAYA ("Poor man's caviar) - Eggplant with a delicate infusion of herbs, onions, olive oil, and garlic. ADJARULI KHACHAPURI: Georgian boat-shaped cheese and egg bread. PELMENI-Siberian meat dumplings, garnished with yogurt-dill-garlic sauce. RUSSIAN PIEROGIES- potato filled dumplings topped with caramelized onions. GOLUBTSI: Village-style cabbage rolls filled with a ground meat (beef and pork) and herbs mixture. BEEF STROGANOFF: Sauteed pieced of grass fed beef served in a sauce with smetana (sour cream). Served with rotini pasta or mashed potatoes SHASHLIK: (Served Friday through Sunday) Skewered meat roasted over charcoal. Served with pickled red onions and a side of rice. We chose pork MEDOVIK TORTE: Russian traditional honey cake. Beverages Pear Soda and Tea WOW! The food was all delicious! The salad sampler was perfect as we were able to sample all the different salads. My favorite three were the OLIVIER ( potato salad) KAVKAZ BEET SALAD and CARROT SALAD. I enjoyed the ADJARULI KHACHAPURI. The dough was nice a fluffy and I loved how they mixed the egg at the table. ( This would make a nice breakfast meal) The pelmeni snd pierogies were yummy too. ( I used to get them in Juneau Alaska. ) The table favorite was the GOLUBTSI and BEEF STROGANOFF although the pork was tasty. Last of all. The honey cake was scrumptious!! The pear soda and tea were even great!!! Would recommend this place and I will come back too. It was a great experience AFTER we were taken care of. Food was a 5 and when the staff finally acknowledged us and took our order we finally felt welcome. Maybe because it was late in the evening?
